Holiday Traffic Going Strong

Did you know?  On Amazon's peak day, December 14, 2009, customers ordered over 9.5 million items worldwide, which is a record-breaking 110 items per second!!

11 days into 2010, Amazon.com continues to benefit from very high traffic of post-holiday shoppers on our website.

Take advantage of record traffic levels to drive traffic to your website with Amazon Product Ads.  Remember to maximize your traffic by following these 3 tips:

1. Keep your budget levels high:   If you exceed your daily budget, your products will show as ‘unavailable’ on Amazon.com.  Not until the following morning at 12:01 am will they point to your website again.  Make sure your products are in front of millions of Amazon.com customers by increasing your daily budget to keep your Product Ads live.

2. Keep your product information up to date:   If your inventory changes or you have promotional prices, be sure to keep your ads updated by uploading your product file  as many as 5 times a day.

3. Keep your bids competitive:  With up to 5 targeted placements available where customers may see your ads, improve your ranking by setting your bids competitively.
